LIFT HIGH THE CROSS - Construction Update - July 20, 2024

We have seen some noticeable progress in the last few weeks. Gooch Electric has installed the new recessed lighting in the transepts, Freedom Wood Products has delivered our beautiful new trim pieces and choir loft rails, GBH has begun restoring the organ loft screen, and the cross stands tall once again.

The new LED recessed lighting replace the existing fixtures along with additional accents aimed at the font and the nativity set locations.

The new acoustical cloth covers the organ loft, where the electric organ speakers sit on a new shelf that allows for precise aiming for optimal sound distribution.

Freedom Wood Products has constructed beautiful new railings for the choir loft and stairs, along with stair treads, risers, and baseboards.

Ross Allen Flooring has laid self leveling floor compound to fill the walk ways that were originally recessed 3/4 of an inch to allow for thick 1960’s carpet.
